Why Cook? has been operating within the South East Queensland and Northern NSW markets since 2008 primarily supplying School Tuckshops with healthy, ready-made meals. Under new management since mid-2014 and after providing more than 110,000 meals to school Tuckshops without any complaints from highly satisfied customers, we are now focusing on the supply of freshly prepared ready-made meals for busy families, home and corporate functions and select retailers.

WHO WE ARE
In 2003 after the birth of our third child, Jocelyne started cooking fresh meals every day for the family to enjoy. While sharing her kitchen stories among friends and neighbours, they suggested she cooked a little bit more for them to also enjoy. This evolved into a small following which kept growing little by little. However as our son started growing up, it became too much of a handful for us and we ultimately decided to stop the cooking and concentrate on our son’s growth.
Now that our boy is in high school and definitely more independent, we have wondered back into cooking, this time expanding into the public at large. However, while we kept our home-style food, in fact you can still find us in the kitchen every week, Chris our professionally trained Chef is a welcome addition to the team to ensure we develop a more expert approach in our cooking.
We are a small family operation preparing unique home style, fresh, tasty, nutritious and balanced meals for all to enjoy.
